Varbank is a CCG software solution that aims to make human genetic variants explorable in a user-friendly way. Rare diseases are often the focus of such investigations. It is particularly important for users to quickly narrow down long lists of variants to the true, pathologically relevant ones. Varbank combines a web interface for displaying and filtering variants with numerous tools, such as for organizing data sets, working in groups, sharing of data, exploring relationships and much more. A key aspect of Varbank’s usability is a rich set of visualization tools for all kind of variations. Varbank has been in operation since 2012 and has been continuously developed.
