Next Generation Sequencing
The next generation sequencing (NGS) core facility of the CCG provides support to research groups from the University of Cologne and the University Hospital of Cologne. External projects from other research institutions can also be supported on the basis of a scientific collaboration.
Keeping up to date with modern sequencing technologies, the CCG operates several next generation sequencers and is able to perform a variety of next generation sequencing experiments – from sample preparation to data analysis. To streamline data analysis, the CCG leverages the performance of the high-performance computing systems of the Regional Computing Center Cologne (RRZK).
